I've always struggled to catch a good night's sleep. I wanted to make something protective, something that, if placed in a house, could ward off nightmares and troubles. This scene portrays a heron fishing nightmares from the fog of sleep, protecting the slumbering city below as the curtain of night is slowly lifted just before dawn.
